The Atlassian practice

Atlassian Data Center → Forge migration

LogikBlue re-architects Atlassian Data Center and Connect apps as Forge apps. The migration is delivered through the factory’s live migration bundle: the spec records what your app does today, the Forge app is derived from that spec, and every derived artifact is verified against it.

The migration wave has a deadline. Atlassian announced that from March 30, 2026, new customers will no longer be able to purchase new Data Center subscriptions; that existing customers can continue to purchase new Data Center subscriptions only until March 30, 2028; and end of life for Data Center products on March 28, 2029 — subscriptions expire and products become read-only. Atlassian also announced the Connect end-of-support timeline: since September 2025, new Marketplace apps must be built on Forge; from March 2026, Marketplace apps with a Connect descriptor can no longer be updated; and Connect enters end of support in Q4 2026. The economics point the same way: Atlassian’s Marketplace revenue-share update takes effect in January 2026 — from then, Forge apps earn 0% revenue share up to $1M lifetime while Connect rates rise to 25%.

A migration engagement delivers the full run-artifact set — requirements, spec, working Forge app, Marketplace listing, brand kit, and documentation — each derived from the spec and verified against it.

Cloud Fortified & compliance uplift

Cloud Fortified and compliance uplift for existing Marketplace apps, delivered through the factory’s live compliance-uplift bundle: the uplift is specified first, then derived from the spec and verified against it, like any other factory build.

Migration assessment & spec-first discovery

An engagement starts with a conversation, not a contract. Write to us about your Data Center or Connect app — or the application you want to build — and we scope the first step together: a migration assessment for an existing app, or spec-first discovery for a new one.

An assessment produces a written, spec-first picture of the work before any build starts: an inventory of what your Data Center or Connect app actually does, which parts map cleanly to Forge and which need re-architecture, and a requirements baseline the AI factory derives the migration from — disciplined AI, not free-form code generation, with every change traced to a requirement. Spec-first discovery for a new build produces the same artifacts from a plain-language idea — research, competitor analysis, and a requirements baseline that becomes the spec the application is built and verified against.

Integrations & automation for Atlassian tools

Integrations and automation for Atlassian tools, delivered as spec-driven AI builds: we connect Jira and Confluence to the systems around them and automate the workflows between them. Each integration is specified first, then derived and verified by the AI factory like any other application — generated from the spec with full traceability to requirements, so changes enter at the requirement level, not as untracked AI output.
